WEB09 will bring people from around the world to Auckland for this premier event, with a focus on current and new trends in web design, technology and community.
WEB09 is New Zealand's premier conference for web companies, developers and designers — the people with the power to change the way we live, work and interact.
WEB09 takes place over two days at Auckland’s SkyCity Convention Centre on 17-18 April 2009. There will be 22 presentations in total over the two days.
WEB09 aims to inspire web professionals by bringing to them some of the web superstars of the world, and by showing the hottest technologies; high-end websites; high-bandwidth design; the power of online communities and the people who make it all happen.
The design stream will feature top overseas web and interaction designers presenting on their experiences and processes.
Premium US companies will present in the technology stream on rich user experience topics such as Flash, Silverlight, Flex and AIR.
Our third stream is community, with a focus on social networks and growing communities around booming websites.
